MCC Heavy Industry’s hydraulic forging press helps C919
The 400-meganewton die-forging hydraulic press, jointly designed and manufactured by MCC Heavy Industry and Tsinghua University, is the world’s largest single-cylinder winding precision die-forging hydraulic press. The landing gear and large-scale fuselage structural forgings of the domestically produced large aircraft C919 are derived from this equipment, ending the history of my country’s need to import large forgings from abroad and filling a gap in the aerospace field.
